English When boring requirements meet the need to machineparticularly large diameters, the most effective and economic solution is the use of Boring adjustable crowns. Sharp crowns allow the machining especially of medium and large bores with tolerances of less than IT7. Adjustment is simple and reliable, allowing the dimensional optimization of the machining to be performed. The crowns are provided or regenerated very quickly and, thanks to the expansion system, prolong their life up to 6 times compared to an integral alternative. The expansion process is extremely simple and rapid and allowscompensating for the decrease of the diameter due to wear of the cutters.
The ease of measurement of the sharp crowns allows having a reduced presetting time and control of the cutters. The possible combinations with different crown holder mandrels complete the picture.
